That doesn\u2019t give me too much time to do a lot of things because I like to get to bed between 10 and 11. And that\u2019s a pretty firm rule for me. There are a few things I like to do every night before I hit the sack. My bedtime routine is v. sacred to me, and I feel that I get the best sleep ever when I complete all of these steps\u2026so I wanted to share them with you to help you get YOUR best sleep!\n <\/p>\n<h4>\n  <strong><br \/>\n   Shower &amp; Skincare\u00a0Routine<br \/>\n  <\/strong><br \/>\n <\/h4>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n  I, personally, shower at night. During my shower, I\u2019ll wash my face with my favorite cleanser and if it\u2019s an exfoliating day, I\u2019ll do that as well. Immediately after showering, I\u2019ll use my Jergen\u2019s Wet Skin Moisturizer. Once I\u2019m towel dried, I\u2019ll continue my skincare routine (<br \/>\n  <strong><br \/>\n   <em><br \/>\n    <a href=\"http:\/\/www.itscasualblog.com\/blog\/the-beauty-edit-october-my-current-nighttime-skincare-routine\/\"><br \/>\n     which you can read more about here<br \/>\n    <\/a><br \/>\n   <\/em><br \/>\n  <\/strong><br \/>\n  ). It\u2019s the perfect beginning to winding down for the night.\n <\/p>\n<h4>\n  <strong><br \/>\n   Cup of Tea<br \/>\n  <\/strong><br \/>\n <\/h4>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n  Although I\u2019m a morning coffee drinker, I\u2019m a tea drinker at heart. Every night, my dad and I will have a cup of tea (old school, Red Rose, is our favorite) at night. It\u2019s another favorite part of my bedtime routine!\n <\/p>\n<h4>\n  <strong><br \/>\n   Light a Candle<br \/>\n  <\/strong><br \/>\n <\/h4>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n  Candles are just the best. During the fall and winter, I love to light anything vanilla-y or a stress relief candle.\n <\/p>\n<h4>\n  <strong><br \/>\n   Read Anything<br \/>\n  <\/strong><br \/>\n <\/h4>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n  Whether it\u2019s a magazine article or a book, JUST READ SOMETHING. At the beginning of the year, I was doing SO WELL with reading, but I\u2019ve totally slacked off lately. But I\u2019m slowly getting back into reading before bed! Reading helps my eyes get tired (in a good way), and helps my mind wind down after looking at a screen all day.\n <\/p>\n<h4>\n  <strong><br \/>\n   Spritzes of Lavender<br \/>\n  <\/strong><br \/>\n <\/h4>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n  My final step before bed is spraying lavender scent on my pillows. There\u2019s something so calming about lavender and I immediately feel less stressed once I smell it\u2026and lay my head on my pillow.
